Community Rules and reporting abuse

v1.0.02026-08-18Draft

Document under review. This is not the version in force yet and should not be considered final.

abuse@dopplos.com

You can also report any profile, match or message from inside the app. You do not need an account to write to us, and you do not need to be the person affected.

We acknowledge every report and we tell the person who reported what we decided. This is our point of contact under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).

What is not allowed

  • Anyone under 18. See Adults Only.
  • Impersonation. Using someone else’s photos, name or identity.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that attacks people for who they are.
  • Sexual content involving minors, in any form, real or generated. We report this to the authorities without exception.
  • Non-consensual intimate images, and sharing private material of another person.
  • Prostitution, trafficking, and the sale of sexual services.
  • Fraud: romance scams, requests for money, investment pitches, links to external payment.
  • Spam and advertising.
  • Scraping our service or extracting other people’s data.

How we enforce it

Reports are reviewed by our moderation systems and, when the decision affects an account, by a person. Depending on severity we may remove content, restrict features, suspend the account or terminate it permanently.

A human being makes the final call on any decision that closes an account. Automated systems prioritise and flag; they do not expel anyone on their own.

If we act against your account

We tell you what we did, on what ground, and how to contest it. Write to abuse@dopplos.com and a different person from the one who took the decision will review it. If you disagree with the outcome you can take the matter to an out-of-court dispute settlement body or to the courts; nothing here removes that right.

Your avatar is not an excuse

Your AI avatar speaks on your behalf. You are responsible for what it says. If you instruct it to behave in a way that breaks these rules, the consequence falls on your account.
